HouseLinc was not designed in a vacuum. It grew out of two converging frustrations — the kind that anyone who owns property, manages assets or navigates the administrative weight of modern life will recognize immediately.
On one side: the personal experience of losing hours to documents that should have been findable in seconds. Insurance certificates buried in inboxes. Renovation invoices scattered across folders. A financing appointment approaching and no clean summary of anything.
On the other: a broader observation, from the world of real estate and personal finance, that the tools available to individuals simply had not kept pace with the complexity of their lives. Enterprise software was too heavy. Consumer apps were too shallow. Nothing was built for the person in the middle — the one who owns something real and wants to manage it properly.
